NBA Recap: Lakers triumph Thunder in Los Angeles

LeBron James contributed 19 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists as the Lakers secure a 116-104 win against the Thunder on Monday.

The Lakers won the game, taking the season series 3-1 against the Thunder. D’Angelo Russell led the Lakers with 26 points and five 3-pointers, Anthony Davis contributed 24 points and 12 rebounds, and Austin Reaves scored 16 points in the victory over one of the top teams in the Western Conference. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds, while Chet Holmgren added 15 points and seven rebounds for the Thunder. Luguentz Dort also had 15 points, Josh Giddey scored 13, and Aaron Wiggins added 12 points for the Thunder, who suffered only their second loss in the last nine games.

Bulls 113, Kings 109

Coby White had a career-best scoring performance, scoring 37 points and making crucial baskets in the final minutes to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 113-109 comeback victory over the Kings. DeRozan also contributed with 33 points, Dosunmu added 20 points, and Vucevic had 10 points along with 13 rebounds. Sabonis had a double-double with 18 points and 21 rebounds for the Kings, who lost their third game in the last four. Fox led Sacramento with 20 points and 10 assists.

Jazz 127, Wizards 115

Jordan Clarkson had his best game of the season, scoring 38 points for the Utah Jazz in a 127-115 victory over the Washington Wizards in Salt Lake City on Monday night. He scored 12 consecutive points in the fourth quarter. Additionally, Jordan Poole scored 32 points by making his first eight shots, Kyle Kuzma contributed 23 points and eight assists, and Tyus Jones added 21 points.

Bucks 113, Clippers 106

Damian Lillard led the Milwaukee Bucks to a 113-106 win over the Los Angeles Clippers by scoring 41 points, with Bobby Portis contributing 28 points and 16 rebounds off the bench. The Bucks, who won their sixth consecutive game, also saw Patrick Beverley score 12 points and grab nine rebounds against his former team. James Harden and Paul George led the Clippers with 29 points each, while Kawhi Leonard added 16 points. Ivica Zubac grabbed 11 rebounds for the Clippers, who had their two-game winning streak ended.

Grizzlies 106, Nets 102

Luke Kennard had his best scoring performance of the season with 25 points, helping the Memphis Grizzlies secure a 106-102 win over the Brooklyn Nets in New York on Monday night, ending their five-game losing streak.

Timberwolves 119, Blazers 114

Rudy Gobert led the Minnesota Timberwolves with 25 points and 16 rebounds in their 119-114 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers in Minneapolis on Monday night. Mike Conley contributed 19 points and seven assists as Minnesota ended a two-game losing streak. Karl-Anthony Towns scored 14 points for the Timberwolves. Anfernee Simons led Portland with 34 points and 14 assists, while rookie Duop Reath had a career-best 26 points on 10-of-14 shooting. This loss marked the Trail Blazers’ first defeat in three games.
