Lakers 113, Knicks 105

In a crucial match, LeBron James contributed 24 points and Austin Reaves added 22 to help the Los Angeles Lakers secure a 113-105 win against New York, ending the Knicks’ nine-game winning streak. The Lakers dominated the fourth quarter, outscoring New York 33-19, despite Jalen Brunson’s impressive 36-point performance.

Bucks 129, Mavericks 117

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Milwaukee Bucks to a 129-117 victory over the Dallas team by scoring 48 points. Damian Lillard also contributed 30 points for Milwaukee, while Luka Doncic’s impressive performance of 40 points, 11 assists, and nine rebounds was not enough to secure a win for Dallas. The win also secured the Eastern Conference All-Star coaching spot for Bucks coach Doc Rivers, who took over the coaching position from Adrian Griffin just eight days prior. Boston’s head coach Joe Mazzulla, despite having a better record, is ineligible for the All-Star spot as he held the position last season.

Nets 136, 76ers 121

The Philadelphia 76ers, who were missing their current NBA Most Valuable Player Joel Embiid due to a right knee injury, experienced their fifth defeat in six games, losing 136-121 at their home court to the Brooklyn Nets. Cam Thomas was the top scorer for Brooklyn with 40 points, while Mikal Bridges contributed 23 points.
