NBA Recap: Golden State Warriors secure victory over Lakers

Stephen Curry came back from an ankle injury to score 31 points, while Klay Thompson contributed 26 points off the bench to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 128-121 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers in an NBA game on Saturday.

The Lakers lost Anthony Davis to an eye injury early in the game, despite LeBron James scoring 40 points. The Golden State Warriors, missing Stephen Curry in their previous games, won the match as Curry made a strong comeback with 36 points, along with six rebounds and five assists. James also had a good game with 15-of-23 shots made, eight rebounds, and nine assists. Draymond Green had 12 rebounds and 13 assists, while Jonathan Kuminga scored 23 points for the Golden State Warriors. Golden State Warriors is slightly ahead of the Lakers in the Western Conference standings for the play-in positions.
