The Indiana Pacers managed to overcome a frightening injury to their star point guard Tyrese Haliburton, who was carried off the court after a painful fall during their game against the Boston Celtics. Haliburton, a prominent player in the league, sustained a left hamstring strain and did not return to the game. Despite his absence, Bennedict Mathurin stepped up with 26 points off the bench to lead the Pacers’ comeback in the second half, ultimately securing a 133-131 victory.

The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Washington Wizards 136-128, with standout performances from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren. The Los Angeles Clippers had a strong performance against the Phoenix Suns in the Western Conference, winning 138-111. Despite Kevin Durant scoring 30 points for Phoenix, the Clippers’ well-rounded offense led by Paul George’s 25 points was too much for the Suns to handle.
