Jude Bellingham suspended for two games after Valencia draw

Jude Bellingham has been given a suspension for the upcoming two La Liga games of Real Madrid following his red card against Valencia last weekend, as announced by the Spanish football federation on Wednesday.

Madrid challenged the red card given to Jude Bellingham, but the federation’s disciplinary committee rejected their claim that the referee, Jesus Gil Manzano, had made a mistake.

Jude Bellingham, who is the leading scorer in La Liga with 16 goals, scored right after the final whistle in Madrid’s 2-2 draw against Valencia. Bellingham approached the referee to argue that the goal should count, but he was shown a red card for displaying what Gil Manzano described as an “aggressive attitude” and “shouting.”
